From 12th – 15th May, a three day capacity building training on anti-corruption, good governance advocacy and project monitoring was conducted for 16 CSOs and 1 Women’s Development Committee from 4 atolls (Haadhaal, Meemu, Dhaalu and Gaafu Alifu) A total of 17 participants completed the training, in Male’.
The training conducted for CSOs allowed for capacity increase amongst local stakeholders. Thus allowing for an increase in awareness about climate change and development projects. As well as facilitating their increased participation in climate change and development projects.
Following the training, a network was formed amongst the participating CSOs leading to long term sustainability in promoting good governance and anti-corruption messages as well as activities.
