On 21st May the CIP team and ALAC (TM’s Advocacy and Legal Advice Centre) coordinated with stakeholders in GN. Fuvahmulah and conducted a Climate Finance Governance and Right To Information training for PIOs, review committee members and administrative in charges (zimmadhaaruverin) in Gn.Fuvahmulah.

11 participants from 9 institutions completed the training.

The training aimed to increase awareness regarding climate finance governance and RTI, as well as improving the RTI processes of local institutions. Which in turn facilitates the increase of participation of the local community in holding public institutions accountable and increasing transparency.
